  • Trudi Pinnick Wolfe is the school social worker at Loper Elementary in Shelbyville. Prior to this she had been the school counselor at Central Elementary in Beech Grove for 16 years. Before becoming a school counselor, Trudi worked in mental health settings for over 20 years. Trudi holds licenses in school social work, school counseling, clinical social work, and marriage and family therapy. Trudi also holds a Certificate in Applied Educational Neuroscience from Butler University. In addition, she is a Certified Trauma-Informed Professional and a Certified Clinical Trauma Practitioner. She had also served as the coordinator for the Lilly Comprehensive School Counseling Grant for Beech Grove City Schools. She has presented at both the ISCA conference and the IASP conference. She has also been published in the “Teaching Tolerance.” Under Trudi’s leadership, Central Elementary earned both the Indiana Gold Star award and the ASCA RAMP award. Currently, Trudi has also begun private practice with the Indianapolis Trauma Therapy Center, and is available to consult with schools on developing trauma-informed programs as well as comprehensive school counseling programs.
